An order needs attention when a supplier changes availability or a stock record no longer supports the expected fulfillment path. Solid Commerce connects the commerce context an operator needs to investigate. An AI-assisted workflow can help assemble that context and explain the next decision.
Start with a precise question
Use a specific SKU and order identifier. Identify the stock source, reporting timestamp, outstanding order quantity, and routing policy. Reported inventory from different lists may overlap; adding every row can overstate stock. Missing inventory records do not establish zero stock.
Walk through the exception
- Retrieve the relevant inventory records and the order's current state.
- Show the source and timestamp of each quantity. Separate known values from missing data.
- Identify possible fulfillment paths using the connected warehouse, vendor, or 3PL information.
- Explain the recommended next step and the policy that permits it.
- Present any required approval before changing the order or inventory.
- Inspect the resulting record and channel acknowledgement when an action is authorized.
Example to bring to a demo
Illustrative scenario: a vendor feed reports no stock while an order is waiting for allocation. Ask the workflow to retrieve the order and stock context, identify an approved alternative, and explain whether an operator must approve it. Do not substitute a generated explanation for a confirmed fulfillment result.
What a successful evaluation records
Record the actual identifiers privately, retain sanitized evidence of retrieved fields, and note missing timestamps or ambiguous stock types. Confirm that a repeated investigation does not create duplicate operational changes. If a connection cannot provide the required information, the outcome should identify that limit and route the decision to an operator.
Connect the workflow to your operation
